Applications for the DMZ Innisfil business support programs are now open
Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Winter 2026 intake of the DMZ Innisfil business support programs. Delivered through the Town of Innisfil Economic Development Office, these programs provide the essential knowledge, resources, and connections local founders need to confidently grow their businesses.
“These programs continue to strengthen Innisfil’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and support residents who are building the businesses of the future,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “Whether someone is just getting started or ready to accelerate their growth, DMZ Innisfil offers the tools, mentorship, and community that help turn great ideas into thriving companies."
Over the past 5 years, more than 144 businesses have been supported through the DMZ Innisfil programs and in 2025 alone more than 1,300 attendees took part in the DMZ Innisfil All Access event series.
Early-stage entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply to the Start-Up Incubator program and established businesses are encouraged to apply to the Business Accelerator program. Both programs provide participants with up to 15 hours of 1:1 coaching and mentorship, curated networking opportunities, workshops on a variety of essential business growth topics, and access to the DMZ Innisfil coworking space and office.
“The DMZ Innisfil program has been incredibly valuable in helping me launch and grow my business,” says Anna Kowalczyk-Slowy, Founder & Creative Director, Bubbly Bites Co. “Being part of a community of like-minded founders and experienced mentors has made the journey not only easier, but genuinely enjoyable. Their support, guidance, and collaborative environment have accelerated my progress and strengthened my confidence as an entrepreneur.”
The DMZ Innisfil winter programming will kick off on March 3 and run until June 15 through a mix of virtual and in-person platforms. Along with the above-mentioned mentorship, networking opportunities, and workshops; upon completion of this program, participants are introduced to additional support programs and resources offered by local ecosystem partners. This ensures DMZ Innisfil program graduates have ongoing access to the guidance and tools they need to successfully grow their businesses.
