NEW! No need to book a removal time! Launch times have changed to 15 minutes. More spaces are being added to the schedule at Innisfil Beach Park.
To help us do the things we love while protecting the community this boating season, the use of Innisfil’s boat ramps must be pre-booked using our online booking system. Access to Innisfil ramps will be granted to residents only at this time. Visitors can consider other options including public launches outside the Town of Innisfil, or through the various marinas along the shore of Lake Simcoe.
Frequently Asked Questions
At this time, the ramps are available for Innisfil property owners only, including tenants. To book a launch time, you’ll have to provide proof of residency when you arrive, by showing your park pass or another document that shows your Innisfil address such as your utility bill or a driver’s licence.
This webpage (on your computer, phone or tablet) is used to book a launch. It’s a very simple process, but if you would prefer, you can call customer service during regular business hours and they can book a time for you at 705-436-3710.

It is free for Innisfil residents to launch their boat.
Starting June 1, the ramps at Innisfil Beach Park are available 7 days a week from 6:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. The ramps at Shore Acres are available on Saturday and Sunday from 6:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. These times may be subject to change. There is limited capacity to launch boats and you may find fewer launch times available during peak days such as on weekends as more people are placing bookings. It is best to use the boat launch booking app to see available times.
Time slots for launches can be booked up to 14 days in advance.
When you are logged into your account, you can review or cancel your bookings by clicking on the symbol at the top right of your screen, and selecting My Bookings.
If you cannot make your booked time, please log into the booking website and cancel your booking so that someone else can have the spot. We are monitoring the rates of “no shows” for bookings and may have to apply a penalty for missing your launch times in the future. There are limited spaces for our residents and we don’t want to see booking times being missed especially when there are other boaters who couldn’t get a time because the schedule is full.
When you arrive at the ramp you will find identifiable Innisfil Ramp Ambassadors ushering users into a line up based on their booking time. Please stay in your vehicle until it is your turn to launch. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes in advance so as not to crowd the launch area. We ask for your patience, respectful behaviour, and safe physical distancing so that we can help ensure a safe and friendly boating experience.
Our Ramp Ambassadors are at the ramp site to help ensure an orderly line up and approach to the ramp facilities. They cannot help you with your launch procedure in any way. Please bring whatever equipment and support you may need for a safe and successful launch or removal.
We’ve changed our practice to better suit the needs and realities of our boaters. We are managing the volume of launch times so as to leave time to also remove boats when they come back to the dock. Please remember to be patient and courteous to your fellow boaters. Please also remember that, if you arrive after 9 p.m. you may find that the gates are closed or ramps have been barricaded for the night.
During the first week of operating our boat launch schedule, bookings were for 30 minutes. Going forward, bookings at Innisfil Beach Park will be for 15 minutes. We know that some experienced boaters may launch much faster and if we get ahead of schedule, we will allow the next booked boat to launch. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your booked time as we do not anticipate running ahead of schedule very often. As this is a new system, we will adjust our timing in the future if we find the timing is too much or too little time.
When rain starts or if severe weather is reported to be on the way, Ramp Ambassadors will stop allowing boats to enter the water to prioritize boats that want to get out. This will apply to all boats that come to the ramps in the order they arrive. Please think of this as approaching a four-way stop in a vehicle. You must look at who has arrived ahead of you and wait for your turn to proceed. Stay calm, drive slowly and proceed in that order as ramps open.
