Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is excited to announce the return of its annual Pitch-In Day on Saturday, May 13. This community-wide initiative calls on people to take part in a town-wide clean-up by collecting litter from road edges, public trails, parks, and road ends.

Innisfil launches new online building permit portal

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is pleased to announce the launch of an online permitting software, Cloudpermit, to help streamline the building permit process and further modernize municipal services.

Those requesting a building permit or inspection can now do so through this safe, secure online system.

Little Free Library launches in Innisfil

Innisfil, ON –  As part of a school project, Innisfil resident Daya Grover, a grade eight student at Kempenfelt Bay School, designed and built a “Little Free Library” which is located outside the Innisfil Recreational Complex.

“This has been a really fun project for me to do,” says Daya. “I not only got to learn about designing and building the structure to house the books, but also collect books that will keep the library full for a long time.”

Road closure: 7th Line

Please be advised that 7th Line will be temporarily closed from Yonge Street to east of the Centennial Park entrance beginning on April 24, 2023 at 7 a.m. for road rehabilitation works. Construction includes:

  • General grading and hydroseeding
  • Placement of the final top course asphalt
  • Pavement markings
