Innisfil set to implement automated speed enforcement to enhance road safety

Innisfil, ON – Automated speed enforcement (ASE) is coming to the Town of Innisfil to help improve road safety in select community safety zones. ASE is an automated system that uses a camera and speed measurement device to enforce speed limits and promote safer driver habits.

Update (July 22, 2024): The blue-green algae warning has been lifted. See the latest status of designated beaches across the Simcoe Muskoka region.

SIMCOE MUSKOKA – A blue-green algae bloom has been confirmed on the southeast shoreline of Kempenfelt Bay (Bear Point area) and the southwest shoreline of Lake Simcoe (Innisfil Beach Park area), Town of Innisfil. Innisfil's Mobile Youth Centre is coming to a park near you

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil’s Mobile Youth Centre (MYC) is back for another exciting summer, packed with sports equipment, crafts, yard games, and many more free activities. From July 2 to August 30, MYC staff will be touring throughout the community, providing kids the opportunity to stay active, have fun, and make new friends.

The MYC will operate outdoors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (weather permitting) on the following days:
