Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is declaring a Significant Weather Event in response to the major winter storm expected today into the holiday weekend. Environment Canada’s winter storm warning outlines dropping temperatures that could lead to a potential flash freeze, damaging winds, and snow.

Innisfil Town Hall and arenas will close early on December 23 at 11 a.m. Innisfil ideaLAB & Library branches and the Innisfil YMCA are closed.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil reminds residents of the following schedule changes during the holiday period. Critical services such as fire, road and sidewalk maintenance, and by-law will continue to operate.

Skating trail now open at Innisfil Town Square

Innisfil, ON – Sharpen your skates as Innisfil’s first ice-skating trail is now open as part of the new Town Square.

The refrigerated trail loops through the Innisfil Town Square providing 240 metres of ice-skating surface. The ice-skating trail is free for anyone to enjoy and open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., weather dependent.

Innisfil, ON - The Town of Innisfil is proud to announce that this year’s “Scrooge the Ticket” campaign has raised approximately $5,000 in toys, non-perishable food items, gift cards and funds for the Innisfil Food Bank, a program run by the Innisfil Community Church.

Anyone who received a parking fine between November 14 and November 28 in Innisfil had the option of donating instead.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil, in partnership withChabad Innisfil, is hosting the 2nd annual Chanukah celebration on December 19 at 4:30 p.m. at Innisfil Town Hall – 2101 Innisfil Beach Road.
