Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil Council unanimously passed the 2023/2024 capital and operating budget at the February 8 Council meeting which includes a 5.25 per cent municipal property tax increase in 2023 and 4.95 per cent in 2024.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil will rename the South Innisfil Arena & Community Centre (Lefroy Arena) to honour the memory of Constable Morgan Russell, who along with Constable Devon Northrup, lost his life in the line of duty.

Innisfil, ON – The flags at Innisfil’s Town Hall have been lowered to half-mast to honour and recognize Hazel McCallion, the former long-standing Mayor of Mississauga. McCallion passed away on January 29 at the age of 101.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil will lower its flags at Town Hall to recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27.

January 27 was designated in 2005 as the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. It is also the day, in 1945, that the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp was liberated.
