Innisfil, ON – The Troy Scott Community Fridge (TSCF) at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Lakeshore Branch has made an exciting move outdoors! The TSCF can now be accessed outside the Lakeshore Branch on the west side near Town Square to facilitate 24/7 access to nutritious food for Innisfil residents.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is hosting public open houses to present the Transit Master Plan project and give community members the opportunity to help shape the future of transit in Innisfil. In-person, drop-in open houses are scheduled from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on:

  • Tuesday, January 14 at the Cookstown Community Hall – 20 Church Street
  • Thursday, January 16 at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Lakeshore Branch – 967 Innisfil Beach Road

Overnight parking allowed on Innisfil's streets this holiday season

Based on the weather forecast, the Town of Innisfil is permitting overnight on-street parking from midnight to 7 a.m. on:

  • December 25, 2024 (i.e. Christmas Eve into Christmas Day)
  • December 26, 2024 (i.e. Christmas Day into Boxing Day)

The overnight parking restriction on Innisfil’s roads is typically in place to assist snow clearing operations from November 1 to May 1 each year, however, these exemptions encourage those attending holiday celebrations to enjoy them responsibly and safely.
