Innisfil reviews council composition and ward boundaries

The Town of Innisfil is undertaking a review of its Council composition and ward boundaries. The last review was done more than a decade ago and with the growth of Innisfil, Town Council approved the creation of an ad-hoc committee to review this process.

Reduced load restrictions lifted early in Innisfil

The Town of Innisfil will lift seasonal load restrictions early this year in conjunction with the County of Simcoe. Following a review of weather conditions and modelling data, reduced load restrictions will be removed on Innisfil’s roads as of April 17, 2024.

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse is set to unfold over Canada. As the moon passes between Earth and the sun, temporary darkness will sweep across parts of the country.
