Town shares update on the reopening of the Innisfil Recreational Complex

Innisfil, ON – Restoration work continues at the Innisfil Recreational Complex (IRC) following the fire incident on May 12, 2025. The facility, which contains the Innisfil YMCA, remains closed while critical repairs and safety assessments are completed. 

As part of the ongoing recovery process, air duct cleaning and air quality testing have been identified as necessary next steps to ensure the building meets safety standards for public use.

We're currently seeking three to five volunteer residents of the Town of Innisfil to review remuneration, benefits, and expense provisions for the Council to be elected for the 2026 to 2030 Council term.
