Innisfil, ON – With temperatures and humidity set to rise over the coming days, the Town of Innisfil is reminding residents of how to take precautions during extreme heat.

“In a briefing with Environment Canada and Climate Change and the Provincial Emergency Operations Management Centre regarding the high temperatures and humidity coming our way, we wanted to advise residents on measures they should take,” says Brent Thomas, Fire Chief, Innisfil Fire and Rescue Services.

Lockhart Road (25th Sideroad to Weeping Willow Drive) will be closed on June 23, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to road work. This construction is necessary to complete an emergency water service repair. 

Local traffic only—no through access. All access points to Sandycove Acres will remain open.
