Road closure: Lakelands Avenue (Centre Avenue to Hastings Avenue)

Lakelands Avenue from Centre Avenue to Hastings Avenue will be closed for culvert replacement as part of the Eastern Ave Lakeside Park improvement project from October 23, 2023 at 7 a.m. to October 27, 2023 at 7 p.m. Local traffic only—no through access.

Road closure: Big Bay Point Road (Algonquin Avenue to Alberta Avenue)

Update: This road closure has been rescheduled to October 26, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Big Bay Point Road from Algonquin Avenue to Alberta Avenue will be closed for septic tank installation on October 18, 2023 from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please contact Customer Service at 705-436-3710.

Road closure: McCormick Gate (Big Bay Point Road to Wilkinson Street)

McCormick Gate from Big Bay Point Road to Wilkinson Street will be closed to help the City of Barrie's paving operations on October 5 and 6, 2023 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the City of Barrie's interactive construction projects map. 

Road closure: Meadowland Street (Yonge Street to Gimby Crescent)

Meadowland Street from Yonge Street to Gimby Crescent will be temporarily closed due to InnServices watermain tie-in from October 3, 2023 at 7 a.m. to October 4, 2023 at approximately 5 p.m.

Road closure: Clifton Boulevard (Saint John’s Road to Cross Street)

Clifton Boulevard will be closed from Saint John's Road to Cross Street on October 3 from 7 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. for cross culvert replacement. Local traffic can access Clifton Boulevard from Saint John’s Road.
