Town of Innisfil closing recreational facilities due to inclement weather

Innisfil, ON – Due to inclement weather, the decision has been made to close Town-run recreational facilities. As of 4 p.m. on February 18, the Innisfil Recreational Complex, the Morgan Russell Memorial Arena & Community Centre, and the Stroud Innisfil Community Centre will be closed.

Update (February 19 at 2 p.m.): The Significant Weather Event declaration has been lifted as we return to Ontario's Minimum Maintenance Standards. Please continue to drive with caution and according to road conditions.

Update (February 19 at 6:45 a.m.): Both roads have reopened.
nnisfil, ON – Due to whiteout conditions, there are multiple temporary road closures in the Town of Innisfil:
- 20th Sideroad, from Big Bay Point Road to 9th Line
- Big Bay Point Road, from 13th Line to Guest Road (North End)
Motorists are asked to avoid the areas until further notice.

Innisfil Town Hall to close on February 13 due to inclement weather

Due to Environment Canada's forecast of significant inclement weather, Innisfil Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Residents can still access digital services and Customer Service by calling 705-436-3710, emailing inquiry@innisfil.ca, or visiting innisfil.ca/ContactUs. The Town’s winter maintenance crews and emergency services remain available.

Lakelands Avenue (Northern Avenue to Centre Avenue) will be closed on January 23, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to an emergency service leak repair.
