Road closures due to ice storm

Update (April 1): Arnold Street, Lakelands Avenue and Mapleview Drive have reopened. Guest Road remains closed until further notice—local traffic permitted.

Several roads in the Town of Innisfil are closed as of 12:45 p.m. on March 30, 2025 until further notice due to icy conditions and downed trees and powerlines.

Town of Innisfil urges drivers to stay off the road during Significant Weather Event

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is declaring a Significant Weather Event in response to inclement weather this weekend. The declaration will remain in effect until further notice.

The Town is urging residents to stay off the roads due to dangerous conditions caused by a severe ice storm. The storm has resulted in downed trees, power outages, and hazardous driving conditions across the region.

Road closures due to flooding

Update (March 17 at 8:30 a.m.): All road closures have been lifted as flooding conditions have improved.

With significant rainfall and snowmelt this weekend, the following roads are closed until further notice due to flooding:

• Maple Road (Belle Aire Beach Road to Spooners Road)
• Spruce Road (Temple Avenue to Balsam Road)
• Tall Tree Lane (9th Line to Crystal Beach Road)
• Buchanan Street (9th Line to Crystal Beach Road)

Road closure: 20th Sideroad (9th Line to 10th Line)

Update: 20th Sideroad (9th Line to 10th Line) reopened on March 7.

20th Sideroad (9th Line to 10th Line) will be temporarily closed for snow removal operations:

• March 4, 2025 from 7 a.m. to March 7, 2025 at 6 p.m. 
• March 10, 2025 from 7 a.m. to March 12, 2025 at 6 p.m.
