Town Recreation Programs to be Relocated due to CUPE Job Action

The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) has informed us that beginning Oct. 1, 2019, all Town Recreation Programs have been indefinitely put on hold as a result of the current labour situation with CUPE (job action in the form of work-to-rule). This affects programming at the following schools:

  • Lake Simcoe Public School
  • Nantyr Shores Secondary School
  • Goodfellow Public School.
  • Holy Cross CS

Please be advised that we are working as quickly as possible to relocate affected programs to a new location. Please wait to hear from your instructor for further instructions if your program is affected.

Please note that due to the School boards CUPE strike the all Wednesday evening Playball Warriors programs for Oct. 2nd have been relocated to the Stroud Arena – Banquet Hall. Address: 7883 Yonge Street, Innisfil.

Due to the School Board CUPE strike, the Thursday evening POUND program scheduled to take place at Nantyr Secondary School has been relocated to Churchill Community Centre.
