nnisfil, ON – Two Rover Parking spots are now available for visitors to use at Innisfil Beach Park. Up until now, the only way guests have been able to pay for parking has been by using cash or credit card at a nearby terminal. With these two new spots, visitors will be able to use the free Rover Parking App to book and pay for parking quickly and easily.
“Our municipality is the first to be partnering with Rover, as we continue our tradition of being leaders when it comes to finding innovative solutions,” said Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin. “Our hope is that when visitors see how easy, convenient and affordable the service is, they will use the Rover Parking spots available throughout our community.”
The Town of Innisfil has been targeting some of the busiest roads all along Lake Simcoe, encouraging residents to rent out their unused driveways as Rover Parking spots. Currently, there are approximately 70 Rover Parking spaces available throughout the Town of Innisfil.
The Town of Innisfil and Rover Parking are taking part in a pilot project to try to reduce congestion on Innisfil’s streets and reduce the need for expanding parking.
