Q: If I cannot make my tax payment on April 29th 2020 will I be charged penalties and interest?

A: No. Penalties and interest will be waived for the months of March, April, May and June 2020.

Q: I had provided post-dated cheques, when will April’s cheque be cashed?

A: Post-dated cheques received for the April 29th due date will be cashed on that date. If you would like to withdraw your post-dated cheque, please notify customer service or email the Town at finance@innisfil.ca . The fee for withdrawing post-dated cheques and NSF fee will be waived as well as penalty and interest as stated above.

Q: How do I pay my tax bill when Town Hall is closed.

A: Payments can be made online through your bank, telephone banking, banking institutions and through the drop box located at Town Hall, 2101 Innisfil Beach Road.

Cheques only please – no cash.

Q: Will my pre-authorized payment be processed as usual?

A: Yes. If you wish to suspend your payment for the months of March, April, May and June 2020 please contact customer service or email the Town at finance@innisfil.ca. If you wish to cancel your pre-authorized payments, please complete the form on our website, or email finance at finance@innisfil.ca. Please be advised that you will be required to re-activate your pre-authorized plan if cancelled. Re-activation and NSF fees will be waived as well as penalty and interest as stated above.

*Please note that your financial institutions may still charge associated fees, please contact them directly to discuss.

Q: Will penalty be waived for Accounts Receivable Accounts?

A: Yes penalties will be waived on all Account Receivable accounts for the month of March, April, May and June 2020
