About Mayor Dollin

Lynn DollinMayor Dollin was first elected Mayor of the Town of Innisfil in 2018. She was re-elected in 2022. She has represented the Town since 1994, first as Councillor for twenty years and then as Deputy Mayor from 2014 to 2018.  She was also elected by her peers at the County of Simcoe to serve as Deputy Warden from 2020 to 2022.

Mayor Dollin held the position of President for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) from 2016 to 2018 and has held a seat on their Board of Directors since 2011. In her role as President, she also sat on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities board along with the Provincial and Territorial Association. In 2014, Mayor Dollin was elected to the position of Chair of the Ontario Small Urban Municipalities (OSUM). 

In 2007, Mayor Dollin was one of 19 appointed by the Ontario Minister of the Environment to serve as chairperson of the South Georgian Bay Lake Simcoe Source Protection Committee. In that role, she chairs a 22-member, multi-stakeholder committee that is working on a plan to protect municipal drinking water from overuse and contamination. 

Previously, she owned and operated a small retail business for 25 years.
