Our Stories Innisfil – Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury are communities with a rich and varied past, and a long history of migration between them. Our Stories Innisfilis an ongoing, large-scale collaborative community-led history project – the first of its kind in the area. We are building and collecting the pieces of our history to share and preserve for everyone. We are compiling everything from oral histories to photographs to documents. This project has brought together a number of organizations and volunteers to acquire the stories, images, and history of Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Our Stories Innisfilis a partnership project spear-headed by the Innisfil Public Library, Innisfil Historical Society, and the Rotary Club of Innisfil. The digital historical content that you will find onOur Stories Innisfil has been shared with us through our numerous partners including the Innisfil Historical Society, the Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library, and the Town of Innisfil. The Rotary Club of Innisfil, Heritage Lake Simcoe, and the Innisfil Heritage Committee provided invaluable resources in the form of volunteers.

Heritage Committee– The Innisfil Municipal Heritage Committee works to create an awareness of local heritage matters relating to the Ontario Heritage Act. It includes the preservation and conservation of properties and landscapes in the Town of Innisfil that have been identified as historically, culturally or architecturally significant to our community.
