As a strategic business partner, the Human Resources Department provides consultant services on Human Resource Management to the various teams, management and employees within the Town’s organization. Human Resources provides services in the areas of labour relations, performance management, training and development, salary and benefits administration, Health and Safety, WSIB claims management, recruitment and policy development.
The Human Resources Department works with all departments, Town Council, and many community organizations in order to provide efficient and cost effective services to staff and the public. The Human Resources Department offers its adaptable services to its employees and their families and continues to maintain relations with the Town’s bargaining units. The Human Resources Department also keeps current with human resources management initiatives and technological change.
