Here’s How We Recruit New Employees

External Job Postings

All external job postings will be advertised in various forms of media. This includes applicable association websites and the Town of Innisfil’s website. Please note: The location of ads is dependent on the nature of the vacant position being advertised.

Unsolicited Applications

The Town does not accept unsolicited applications. Please monitor our Current Opportunities page and apply by using our online application tool.

Volunteer Firefighters

We have a total of four (4) Fire Stations that provide Fire and Rescue services to the community. All Volunteer Firefighter recruitments will be posted on our Current Opportunities page. Please note that we do not accept applications unless an active recruitment is ongoing.

Student Opportunities

We have a number of student positions that are available in both the summer and winter months.  These positions are within a number of our service areas including Parks, Recreation, and Facilities as well as Roads Services. 

The Town also participates in the Co-operative Education program and has a variety of Co-op placements available to students.  These opportunities are made available through educational institutions that offer Co-operative placements as a component of student development and learning.  We do not post Co-operative opportunities directly on our webpage.
