Innisfil Fire & Rescue Services

Innisfil Fire & Rescue Services (IFRS) is a team of career and volunteer firefighters who work 24/7 to serve our community. We help protect life and property from fire, hazards, and other emergencies through emergency response, public education and fire code enforcement.

We provide a wide range of services, including:

Ice/water rescue response

Innisfil Regional Training Centre

The Innisfil Regional Training Centre offers Ontario Fire College training to members of any fire department in Ontario.

Burn Permits

Learn how to apply for a burn permit and review the burning regulations. Make sure to check the Fire Danger Rating before burning!

Fire Stations

IFRS has five fire stations operating across Innisfil:

Fire Station 1 is located at 780 Innisfil Beach Rd. in Alcona
Fire Station 2 is located at 1214 20th Sideroad in Lefroy (headquarters for Innisfil Fire & Rescue Services)
Fire Station 3 is located at 2394 Victoria St. in Stroud
Fire Station 4 is located at 23 King St. N. in Cookstown
Fire Station 5 is located 740 Big Bay Point Rd. in Innisfil

Fire Station Tours

Fire station tours, public education sessions and more are available by appointment only. To book a tour, please call the fire station directly at 705-456-2318, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Station tour groups can have a maximum of 20 people (10 children, 1 adult per child).
