The Innisfil Beach Park Ad Hoc Committee reviews issues surrounding Innisfil Beach Park and advises and makes recommendations to Council on these matters. The committee develops solutions that enhance the overall user experience at the park.

Duties of the committee include:

  • Reviewing concerns and issues raised by stakeholders, such as residents, staff, Council, local businesses and park users. The committee meets as required to evaluate potential solutions or a plan of action for Council's approval.
    • If solutions are minor and within the scope of current Council-approved operating and capital budget amounts, staff may implement them as suggested by the committee without further approval from Council.
  • Promoting and supporting the implementation of strategies and solutions to solve concerns of overcrowding and parking at Innisfil Beach Park.
    • Strategies can include community engagement, public education and awareness, recommendation of by-laws and other methods.
  • Brainstorming, investigating, researching and liaising with any other individuals or groups to fulfill the mandate of the committee.
