Effective March 1, 2022 proof of vaccination is no longer required before entry into Town facilities or programs. We are operating at normal capacity limits and are no longer actively screening people. Passive self-screening required. Please do not visit facilities if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. We encourage people to continue wearing face coverings when possible.

We have four documents that guide the safe operating of our facilities and programming:

General rules

To protect the health and safety of our community and staff, we ask that you follow our general rules.

Masks and face coverings

  • We encourage people visiting our facilities (e.g. arenas, community centres, town hall) to wear a mask or face covering when possible, but they are no longer required to do so
  • The Rizzardo Health and Wellness Centre is a medical building. Anyone visiting this facility, including program participants, instructors and visitors, must continue wearing masks in common areas (e.g. entrances, lobbies, waiting rooms, washrooms) unless otherwise exempted. Please read our Corporate Mask Policy for more information

Physical distancing

  • Even when outdoors, we ask you to maintain at least 2 m of physical distance from those outside your household (excluding caregivers)

Hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette

  • Practice frequent and proper hand hygiene before and after each activity or entering a room or area
  • Bring your own hygiene supplies or use the sanitation stations throughout the facility
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth and other parts of your face while in the facility

Arena livestreaming

If you are unable to attend practices or games in person, arena livestreaming is available for all facilities on our YouTube channel.
