Transit
Innisfil Transit can help you get around. Whether you're looking to go shopping or connect to GO Transit for your daily commute, Innisfil Transit can help take you where you need to go.
We are developing a 10-year Innisfil Transit Master Plan, and want to hear from you. As part of this work, we have several community engagement opportunities for Innisfil Transit riders and the wider community. Learn more about the Transit Master Plan and have your say!
Voucher for families with multiple children
We are offering a new voucher pilot to expand transit options in Innisfil, the Multiple Youth-Based Voucher Pilot. With this voucher, Innisfil residents with more than one child (children or teenagers under 18 years of age) will be able to book multi-passenger trips through the Uber app when travelling to/from one of our Transit hubs. Each voucher is valid for up to 15 rides per month, from now until December 31, 2025.
Using vouchers
To participate in the program, you must:
- Live in Innisfil
- Travel with multiple youths (under 18 years of age) for whom you are responsible
- Have an active Uber account
One only voucher will be permitted per household. To use the voucher:
- The voucher will be in your Uber Wallet and is good for use on eligible rides
- Open the Uber app and request a ride to/from a Transit hub
- Choose the desired vehicle type between UberX, UberXL, or Uber XXL
- Review fare details and confirm the ride
- The voucher will be automatically applied to the eligible ride if you haven’t reached your monthly limit of 15 trips
See Uber’s Voucher Guide for more detailed information.
Voucher program details
With the voucher, an adult riding to/from a Transit hub with two or more children (dependents under 18 years of age) will be able to book a single ride, provided availability of vehicles. Participants in this voucher program can bypass the limitation on regular Innisfil Transit trips of a maximum of two passengers per trip.
- Only trips to/from a Transit hub are eligible for this voucher
- The cost of the trip is set by the transit fare to/from the Transit hub
- Only one voucher per household
Each voucher entitles an adult with two or more dependents under 18 years of age to 15 eligible trips per month. The voucher balance will reset to 15 trips at the beginning of each month. Any unused trips will not roll over to the next month.
